My VRS Hit 10K

Featured Replies

It is an 11 plate and felt like a brand new car every time I got into it in the 17 months since I bought it but now that the odo has hit 10000 miles I can reflect on how it has been for its first little milestone. Ironically 8500 of the miles have been from driving it home 3 times once if I had not have had to go over for a funeral earlier in the year it wouldn't have hit 10K for at least another 8 months. I could go into this in great detail but instead I shall sum it up simply and in two words.

Dead On!

Now some little pics from the last week or so of the Blue Bruiser.

Cheers dude I like them now more than when they first went on. I did a stock check and counted stone chips especially since I have colour coded grill and some seem to have problems with chips on them, total ZERO not a sausage. :whew:

The colour coded grill does look a lot better!

Agreed I personally cannot stand the big grin on the FL too much bling for my liking should be stock or at least an option!!!!!!!

My new fav pic from a couple of weeks ago. Here we see the Octavia VRS in it's natural habitat cutting threw the countryside like a rampant wilder beast.

I work in the Netherlands so don't bother going home much too expensive. I also managed saying that to get back home on 1 tank with car loaded to roof seats down looked like it was lowered at back on a single tank of Shell V-Power diesel over 600 miles was well happy but I did run it flipping low as I got 54 litres in when I filled it.

Ahh nice one! I drove to Spijkenisse last August to go see my aunty and friend there.

Such an easy drive! On the way back we made it in 5 hours including ferry to Coventry, I thought that was pretty good going, and one tank of fuel in my old Fabia 1.4 16v

I'm not sure if it's just Skoda, but fully laden they seem to sag so much in the rear!
