Wheel refurb Bristol area?

Featured Replies

Morning, my wife hit a rock on a country lane this morning.

Could anyone recommend a wheel refurbishment place in or SW of Bristol please?

Ideally for a full job - i.e. stripped back to the metal & re-lacquered.

Many thanks!

Blimey, poorest response I've had on here! C'mon guys!

Choice so far:

Local Skoda dealer - £70 + VAT for the one wheel. Guaranteed colour match (apparently).

Local ChipsAway chap. Had a good chat with him. £60 + VAT to repair the 4 damaged areas of the wheel.

£90 + VAT to strip back the whole wheel & start again with lacquer, finish etc. Not willing to guarantee the finish - 'stone chips, salt etc mate'.

Head saying Skoda, as we've just moved down here, I'm still in warranty, and it will help me start to build a relationship with them.

Thoughts?

Cheers, Dunc.
