PID & Bluetooth

Featured Replies

Picked mine up today, connected phone only as doesn't like my iPod

Try to play music through phone and it constantly breaks the connection

Can anyone help or has encountered same problem

From hearing from The up forum I believe it's common fault

Oh and I have updated it to the latest software

Thanks in advance

Ours does this, but only seldom.

I found it does it more with two devices paired with it even though only me is connected at a time.

Maybe it can see the other paired device and tries to connect to it very so often?

Even so, still going to put all our music on a micro SD and leave the phone for making calls

Ive had a few issues with the PiD freezing in the media player while trying to access folders containing .Flac files

Bluetooth isn't just Bluetooth. There are many different 'profiles'.

Your phone will need A2DP in order to stream music. If it doesn't, you can only stream speach.

Ok, when I picked it up I set just my phone and it worked fine, then when I got back I updated PID and tried to connect my iPod!

It seems to be what model of phone you have if it will play music through PID.

I have Nokia C3 does not work but by son has another kind and it plays fine as does his ipod.

But I have been told quality will be better using loaded micro sd also the bluetooth uses more power
