Hi People

I have got another problem that i would like to rack your kind brains about,

I took my Octavia Vrs Mk1 for its first time on the motorway the other day and i noticed then when i do over say 70Mph for legal reasons, My fans start blowing fast and slow and making a whistling noise.

I have turned the fans fully off when driving, but what seem to be happening is that the air from outside seems to be blowing into the fans, it almost seems that the air outside is slowing and speeding them up some how!!!!. "this is even when the fans are fully off"....

Also with this happening it is also making my fans whistle like mad, it only seems to do this when i do over 70 Mph.

Any ideas on what it might be

Faulty V71 (recirc flap motor).

New part costs about £70 (well it did 4yrs ago). Located in the dashboard and a nightmare to change as it's so tight and fiddly!
