Quick question...can I reset the pid trip info figures at will? (avg mpg etc) or do I have to wait 2 hours for the "short trip" timer to reset the figures?

Isn't there a reset button on the underside of the stalk?

I believe that if you reset the trip on the Car, with the PiD connected to the car, it will reset the PiD also.

Not quite sure as my daughter did it.

I've just looked at the PDF manual

Section 11.4.2 says to reset the long term data press and hold the trip reset button of the day odometer the car for more than 5 secs.

The short term data is erased automatically after 2 hours inactivity of the car.
