The side repeaters are in the front wings, I assume you mean the front indicators? If you cannot reach them with the headlights in situ (I never needed to change an indicator bulb on my MKI) then yes the bumper needs to be removed to remove the headlights, the bumper removal can be done in less than 10 mins though, it's not hard.

Yes yes I thought front indicators. I will try next week, I ordered OBD II usb cable and chrome bulbs for indicators.

I cant wait.

I had a head light bulb go on my old car and refused to accept you had to go to Skoda dealer to have it changed, I rang them and they at first said the bumper had to come of to take the lights out to gain access to the bulbs, I said to them that I couldn't beleive they went through that agro for a bulb and they admitted they didn't, they told me that the passenger side has just enough room to get in from the engine bay with a bit a squeeze without removing anything, the drivers side is a bit trickier, behind the light is the airbox, there is a triangular air pipe that lead of it to the air intake on the slam plate with a flexy bit in the middle, take off the trim cover from over the air box, the air pipe just pulls off from the air box, to the flexy connector, then pull off the flexy connector and you will have some limited space behind the light thats just enought to get the cover of the light and access the bulbs, I found that some pipe grips were just angled enough to get to the bulbs if you can't with your fingers,

Hope that helps

Well, I just didint succsed without taking off bumper.

But it was quit easy and I did it pretty quick(all in all one hour(taking off bumper, changing bulbs, drinking coffe and job is done).

Now it look like fantastic with chrome bulbs in front indicators.
