Thank you

I could as easily have called it `Revving High´ or even `RevSkoda´, and wonder whether I should have done

With the deals proffering in Germany or the UK, it seems to be a good time to buy a new Skoda; and if the economy returns to growth, they would be unlikely to be repeated. But I'm finding it hard to take advantage. My March 2006 black (Jabba) re-mapped VRS, which I've owned from new, has continental-European headlamps and is registered in Germany. And, despite having a low mileage and being in near-perfect condition, won't appeal to the local dealers, even for part-exchange, because it has right-hand-drive; and UK dealers, who tell me they'd like to buy it, tend to back-off because of what they say would be the administrative problems to do with taking it. And then there's the protocols of Skoda UK, which seems reluctant to let me have a lhd-version for registration in Germany, even though I'd welcome the car or radio instructions and instrument, &c displays in English

It would be hard for me to sell my car in England while buying a new one in Germany

It would be easier for me to put both transactions through the same dealer, wherever
