Rust just above the windscreen

Featured Replies

Spotted this today - needless to say not impressed, especially after all the hassle the car has caused me thus far.

There are no chips and it definitely looks like it's bubbling up from underneath. So much for quality VAG bodywork/ paint/ galvanised panels.....oh yeah that's right, VAG is no longer a symbol for quality. :(

Now the interesting thing is the dealer has already painted the roof under warranty as the paint along the gutter lines was cracked like egg shell all the way along. Wonder if it's related?

Anyway, another trip to the dealer as this had better be covered by anti perforation. If not I'm seriously going to consider getting shot of it. A car less than 4 years old should not give this much grief.

That does not look good - it does look like it is bubbling up from underneath.

Can't really see it from the pic but probably the result of a poor respray job by dealer. I am on my 6th VAG in a row and have never experienced any issues with paint or rusting.

The boot lid has already been repaired due to rust on the seam and the Fabia had the same issue. The bodywork on these things is not what it should be. Trip to dealer next week me thinks.
