well tbh i have a fully kitted powerflex mount but i hate it so much!

So went out and got an r32 mount new which is supposed to be a bit stiffer then the 1.8t ones (we'll see about that) and was thinking of putting these inserts in as well.

just dont want to do anymore fiddlin a sh#t so if this is alot of effort for nothing then i wont bother.

yes have ran these before, they are better than the solid full kits, as they can give too much vibration especially when fitted with the other uprated dog bone mount bush. Superpro stuff is better than the powerflex stuff imo anyway, the added advantage is no need to remove bush from the dogbone, just slip this on over the existing bush, its nice and easy to do!

Im using that!

Only used one half of it though as i couldnt split the dogbone also paired up with the powerflex red diesel rear bush! Works well together!

thanks lads had enough messing around might just put that insert into the standard r32 dogbone and be done with it!

Std R32 Dogbone is no differenet than a VRS one as far as I know.

Best option is a Super pro rear bush and a super pro insert . Easy to do

I have tried just a powerflex rear bush, a super pro rear bush and then finnaly a super pro rear bush and superpro insert and the last combination works well. I have not tried a full powerflex or superpro front bush but know folks who have and comment on too harsh combination.

apparently the r32 mount is beefier due to the added torque from the v6 engine, i have my doubts about it being any different but there all the same price so why not try! I had the full powerflex one and it was awfull.

insert bought so goin to see how that is anyway.

cant wait to have silecnce and no vibration when i start her up!

with both bushes done,do you still have any engine movement? Is that small hop gone when changing gears at high revs?

I have the uprated THS dog bone fitted to mine and there is no vibration, wheel hop or anything its fantastic.

Nope , no real engine movement from dogbone mount other than the std engine mount and gearbox mounts that still cause slight movement. No hop at all , can pull away very fast when required.
