Whiteline vrs ultra racing rarb

Featured Replies

I've looked at ultra racing stuff on the net before, thing I've noticed is that all the pics looked photo shopped and not like there properly on the car? Haven't seen one that looks properly fitted and haven't read any reviews on them

Wouldnt bother.

It will twist and flex looking at it as its not fastened in enough places. Needs to be strapped to the beam then fixed to the legs. Not just fixed to the legs.

Whitline for me over that.

Also where they bolt on is stupid as the heads will catch on springs or cups for the hight adj.

Just get a neuspeed 28mm thicker one

Cool lads thanks for the heads up. Will be going for the whiteline then. 28mm is to thick for me as I'm keeping the stock 19mm front.

Ultra racing also seems to be based in Malaysia where there is very little Mk4 platform cars available, just come back from there and didn't see any

Let me know if you need any prices or info on the Whiteline bars.

Also getting a neuspeed will cost you nearly twice as much!

Lol

yup 28mm only good if you uprate to 23mm front, i drove a car with 19m front and a 28mm rear and it was unbalanced to say the least!

Would it need declaring as a performance mod to the insurance criminals.

everything you do to your car that is not oem needs to be declared !!!

spot on with your std FARB..

+1 for a stock FARB and a whiteline RARB (adjustable). Makes better use of quality tyres, and greater precision when cornering

But crappy tyres and a greasy roundabout can provoke sudden oversteer!

Only negative about the whiteline is that its not painted or powder coated.

The whitelines are painted hence why they rust. If I was you soona s you get it give it a few more coats and then spray it with wax.

I thought mine just had a BZP coating - been a while since I saw it tho..
