Ok, I have the Ross-Tech VCDS. Is there a decoding manual for the Superb 2? i have looked at the "Diagnostic & VCDS" forum and most of that is people with fault codes and the coding items are really old - like 2007.

I use Diablo Sport and HPTuners on my other cars, so I'm not new to tuning. I know VCDS is completely different as there is no performance tuning.

Just wanting to know what all I can actually do with it other than scan fault codes.

Other than diagnostic scans you can change settings such as:

turning various warning bongs on or off (seatbelt, telephone connection, tailgate, alarm etc)

calibrating fuel consumption,

turning on and adjusting DRL brightness, turning on front fog lights as C/H & L/H lights

CC set speed display (petrol engined cars only)

Plus other things that you can currently change in the maxidot anyway.

Thanks Ned, I have that, but its an explanation how-to, which is good, but no codes.

I'm gonna take some time to get my head around it, without making any changes and i'll get back with ya Gizmo if you dont mind with some questions.

You can check many engine values, including turbo pressure, engines binary and soo on.
