Hi ive got a vrs 2006 tfsi when replacing the clutch do you have to replace flywheel?ive also got golf gt tdi which flywheel went b4 the clutch did,is it just diesel that bugger up the flywheels

petrols are less likely to knacker dmf's, if its fine i would just go with clutch change. Unless you have a map that gives you silly torque. Diesels are more prone as you say

Nope Petrols can sometimes have iffy DMF's..... mine included.

I would just got single flywheel and clutch

Stand corrected, if box is off......may as well

You don't have to replace the flywheel but you may as well do while your in like Lofty is saying.
