Hello everyone i'm new here!

I am considering trading my Leon Cupra for a new Octavia Vrs, I have sourced a few different options ie dealer internet broker etc. At the moment I favour the dealer option due to them offering a decent trade value for my Leon, what kind of target price should I aim for on the Octy ie how much off the list. I am considering silver although black looks good opinions on colour please! The extra space and practacllity are the main reasons for the change, I would imagine performance would be similar to the Leon. I'm quite excited about the Octy and really must have one but i'm determined to tread carefully and wait for best deal trade price etc. What options do Octy owners recomend? Is Scotchguard an option from dealer?

Hi Mike...I'm trading my Leon Cupra in this Thursday for an Octy vRS so was in your shoes..so to speak!!!!

The Octy felt faster and apparantly this is due to the gear ratios...the Leon has 6 so it slows it down a tad....I've always wanted a VRS but they were always too expensive but have now taken the plunge!!!!!...I got a better deal via trade..

Hi Paul thanx for your comments, I am currently trying to decide on colour and silver is leading black just slightly. I must add red is very nice, her indoors wants silver though!. Its good to hear the Octy feels quicker than the Leon as the LC is a very quick car for the money etc. My Leon is a 02 plate with 24000 mls on it the Skud stealer offered

Hi Paul thanx for digging out the trade values, I have just emailed a car broker the top trade value you posted. They claim to match anything offered by other dealers etc, lets see what they come up with. Heres hoping its not an insult they come back with eh!
