Has anyone had the above done on their silver vRS and if so, could they post a photo please. I'm trying to visualise if I prefer the original design

Looks good! I prefer the silver ones with the chrome grill surround

I'm thinking of painting the chrome grill in silver to colour match and taking the bump strips off but a bit concerned about potential paint problems underneath. :(

I'm torn. I love how it's looking but having seen others and played around with pictures by editing the black strips out, i love how that looks as well.

...and to think I had given serious thought to getting rid of her!
