The end of my pickup, what should I do?

Featured Replies

I got this 1998 1.3 pickup a few years back. I used it as runaround for a while and parked it up due to usual tin worm disease(Inner wings, sills etc). Now I got a few projects and need the space. What is the best option?

1.Sell it to a farmer as a farm vehicle.

2.Break for parts. I have tried breaking it last year, there isn't much interest.

3.I can get around £150 if I weigh the whole lot in.

Since I parked it up, the radiator developed a leak. The engine and gearbox is sweet as it is only done 90k.

I would say Ebay first to see the interest in it.

Agree with sk4gw. Ebay first then perhaps a local sale to a farm etc. There may not be that much value in breaking and direct scrappage could be the easier option if you want shot of it quickly ;)

Tailgate is dented. Hockey sticks are in VGC.

How badly is the tailgate dented? Is it rusty at all?

I got £150 just for a (fun) tailgate last year that a bit dented. Usually they're rusted and rotted to buggery, so if you've got a half decent one...... ;)

What should you do: make this one your project and repair here :)

In any way, i don t think you can make al lot of money out of a Felicia, I would sell it on ebay.

Def could be the next project thread. As stated, if she's gotta go Ebay's probably the best route
