Adjusting the rear tracking

Featured Replies

Had a 4 wheel tracking done recently, fitter, could not get RNS to adjust due to a bolt not moving the suspension arm out, he showed me it was just turning where its attached, and just keep an eye on that tyre.

Can the inner bolt adjuster be replaced without dismantling the whole of the rear suspension???

the bolt on the end of the lower arm that adjusts the camber?im guessing the eccentric washer has been damaged?from what i can see on my car you can prop the lower arm up,undo that bolt and replace

I think I am right in saying the bolt on the lower arm thats near the centre of the car, there is a lump of what looks like the chassis about 8 inches long and the arm is attached to that, is there anything else needs replaced or is it just the bolt??

yes that sounds right, the bolt has an odd shaped washer on it yes?you need to see if the washer or arm has been damaged, you can jack the car up,put on axle stands then i would use a jack to support the arm before un-doing that bolt
