Lowering springs

Featured Replies

In the near future I'm looking to lower my car 35-40mm . Just wondering what springs everyone are using and what people recommend . Got a budget of about £100-£150.

Most people would probably agree you are better off holding out another hundred quid and going straight for coilovers, its something I've done, bought springs and went onto coilies shortly after, wish I didn't do springs first really

H&R lowering springs seem a popular choice altho they only lower VRS 20mm

I got a set off euro car parts website at trade price. About £60-70 for a set of apex springs. They dropped the car about 30 mm. But I'm looking to get some coil overs after Xmas as since fitting my Audi 18" rims I get a little rubbing on the rear with a full load in my car.

For the VRS the H&R springs are by far the best option.

H AND R SPRINGS WITH KONI SHOCKS ARE AWESOME ON MY VRS :)

EuroCarParts has 31% off at the moment.

I have a set of 4 H&R Mk.1 Octy VRS springs that are as near as dammit brand new for sale, if you fancy them? Drop me a PM or email - [email protected]
