Has anyone else got wet?

Featured Replies

Getting in your Citigo, I mean from the rain running off the roof?

It's been raining two out of the three days we've owned our Citigo and I've got wet more than once and the seat from the rain running off the roof.

I think this is more of a problem if you've had the Autoglym lifeshine treatment like us as the water forms large beads on the roof, then when disturbed runs, or more like gushes on me and the seat. More of an observation than a complaint really, they don't seem to put gutters on cars these days.

Yes I've been caught out like this a couple of times. I now get in the car and close the door really quickly if it's been raining!

yea what made mine worse was as i park my car on the kerb, the action of opening the door itself caused a big down pour onto my trousers

The car has got a ridge either side, presumably to prevent this but it doesn't. Worst if highly polished/waxed.

Still how many times does it :rain: in this country  :sun: I think I'll take to wearing my waterproof leggings.

Same thing happens when you drive off and lower the window. Wet arm and door interior!

Mine has Supaguard.

haha thought this was just me!! my seat and whole door card get wet the other day

Yes and the same here today, must remember not to do that again when wet. It soaked the switches on the door, hope they are weatherproofed.

I was thinking the exact same thing! I ran in my house and got some kitchen towel to soak up all the water incase the switches broke :(, it is a bit of a PITA :(

Its the same with a lot of cars, my current small car (i10) does the same thing, I tend to swipe the roof with my hand before getting in.

Biggest problem is it's just not possible to have a spot of friendly fire in the rain unless you're doing over 50mph.
