Fair play to the dealers, they have been really helpful, phoned me yesterday and said they couldn't get the black but could I take the car in today and they have them swapped for Dark chrome which I think are much better than the plain black.

I'll get some pics up once the batteries for the camera have charged up :think:

Good result, looks much better, but I'm biased as I have the Dark Chromes as well.

Not sure if its been mentioned as yet but you asked about front fogs, you don't have them. Got DRLs instead.

Yeah I know there's no front fogs, shame Skoda customer service don't, as I asked them if it has (knowing full well it doesn't) as it's mentioned in the brochure and on the website that they are there as standard.

They told me it did have fogs and proceeded to tell me how to turn them on, I even had to upload a YouTube video to demonstrate to them it didn't !!

Curious, I took a VRS out the other day with 'all black' rims and questioned the dealer about it and the sales guy said that it was a dealer demo car and it came with standard silvers on, so they just got a mobile refurb guy to come down and paint them all black for them..

Just because they liked them in black...

Was yours a previous demo? or pre-registered?

Dealer might have done the same?
