My octavia is coming up to 140k Now! Is it worth Cleaning the EGR out? its been remapped for the last 3k and been adding Two Stroke OIl Too and seems to be running very well and 55+mpg. thanks. Is it easy to do at home?

If the car isn't stuttering and your fuel economy is good I'd leave it.

Cleaning the EGR is a messy and time consuming job.

You get covered in oily sooty crud just removing it - cleaning it is a messy process

If it isn't giving you grief leave it alone or get rid of it all together would be my advice as well

Thanks! Wonder if the two stroke is doing anying in the way of cleaning the Egr? seems to be running alot better since using it?
