Selling nearly new Tyres

Featured Replies

Hokay, so tyres on me vRS are cack. They spin way too easy in the dry. (no squeal spinnin - almost a wet weather type spin) The compound is really way too hard. I'd rather have a grippy tyre with short life than hard long lasting. Tyres & brakes fall into me 'no-expense-spared' category.

Anyone got any suggestions on somewhere i can get a decent set fitted whilst part exhanging my old/new ones...(3k miles)

Ta,

MPM :D

ps - based in the west mids

Someone might buy them on here - potential to sell seperately as everone's always having punctures.

What tyres came on it?

Anyone want 4 of the above that have done 3k miles in the midlands?

All the tyres tend to have that problem unless they are a really soft compound as the car has a problem handling the amount of torque that the engine has as the car is so light. Although if you think the Michelins are bad in the dry, wait until winter whan the weather is rubbish.

My Conti's are even worse!

My Brother's vRS is on Michelins and he's got bags more grip - they're wearing out much quicker though.
