For those of you that know i recently broke my gearbox on my car, and have replaced it with a used one.

Anyway tonight after coasting down a hill in neutral i lost all gears. Stick will NOT move to the left at all. And wont select any gears on the stick. If i force it enough it will half select them. Can anyone help me fix this as i dont want to have to buy another gearbox otherwise its bye bye fabia.

Sounds like an adjustment problem try readjusting the linkage on top of the gearbox, or maybe a clutch problem will it select gears with the engine off?

Nope wont select gears at all. I hope its only an adjustment problem. Ill get my mate to have a fiddle with it later!

Also check that the selctor arm on top of the box dosen't wobble around.
