The Winter tyres that arn't

Featured Replies

I've come to change my front tyre now that autumn will be with us and considered what to change the long standing Michellin Pilots to, that are on there. Having put Goodyear Efficeny Grips already on the front and then moved them to the back, I was looking for some more Goodyears and came across these Vector 4 Seasons. They are all season tyres which are winter rated and have the snow flake symbol on. Obviously not as good as full blow winter tyres but a better compromise than what I have now. The reviews indicate they are a good tyre and have the same wear rating as the efficeny grip. So I got some from Mytyres.co.uk. I tried a a couple of retail place but they all said they had not heard of them. The bouns of not have to put winter tyres on now even for our winters and hopefully they will cope with the couple of journeys I make to the Alpes each year to go snowboarding. There are a couple of other brands doing these type of tyre too.

I have got the tyres on and can say that I'm completly happy with them. I expected more road/tyre noise but I can't hear no difference and they seem to handle well too. I'm happy with them and thought I pass my comments on in case they are of intrest to others.

Tnx a lot.

Actually for month or two, I need to buy tires for my Sup.

How much miles have you gone so far with them?

I always had some kind of fear for that "all season" tires.

It would be nice to reply for month are you still satisfied with them.

Cheers, and tnx again for your contribution.
