I have just got my vRS serviced last weekend and want to reset the service clock. Does anyone know how I do that?

I suppose that would be a good place to start. Typical engineer, never read the manual ;)

Look under CONTROLS AND EQUIPMENT - 4 - Speedometer. (Page 64 in my car's Manual).

What about the twiddly little turning of ignition, turning to left/right of odometer reset button? I've used that little trick for last 3 "services" with my Fabia. (where no actual reset tool exists, only my little notes on "how to"

I should say this is for a Fabia, and it only says "vRS" above, so could be an octy. :)

so could be an octy. :)

but the fact it's in the Octavia forum could be a clue

Sorry - couldn't resist :D

The reset procedure is now included in the FAQ section here..

Yes. The value '0' means 'Service done'. The instrument cluster will commence counting down to the next service.

Cheers Denis
