Convenience system. How does it work?

Featured Replies

Hi all, thanks to the original owner I have a wonderful convenience system. (not) Recently I've noticed that when I unlock the drivers door with 1 click the other doors make a noise but don't unlock. What exactly is the noise the other doors make as it's obviously not them unlocking.

Also I'm fully aware I can remove the convenience system with vagcom will the doors still auto lock when I set off? I've found this to be quite useful!

The inital noise will be the dead locks unlocking.

The first click of the remote unlocks the drivers door completely and unlocks the dead locks on the others.

If you disable it then you will still keep the auto locking when you set off. Also when you remove the key from the ignition all the doors will unlock instead of just the drivers door.
