Audi TT 312mm Brakes - Grooved discs, Fast road pads

Featured Replies

Unfortunately im going to have to put my newly purchased 312mm front brake set up, up for sale again...

This is the second set i have bought recently but once again something has come up that forces this sale!

Comes with..

Audi TT Calipers and Carriers (Unpainted)

Nearly new Grooved discs (Barely a lip)

Again Nearly new EBC Greenstuff fast road pads. (Plenty life left)

All looks in good condition will clean everything tonight and make sure, and take some snaps!

Given i sold a set the other week for £170 with standard discs and pads i feel that this set up is worth a tad more.

I am after £240ono plus postage (Which will be £13 by 48hr courier)

by ono i do not mean a complete low ball but a reasonable offer will be considered as its hard to put a price on these!

Regards

What car will these fit?

Again a great mod well priced. It seems a shame you have to keep selling them!

As an indicator for potential buyers I bought one of the last sets from pre delivery TTs from the chap on eBay a few years ago, and that was £320, so in my view this is a great price.

Hi mate, I'm interested in these for my MK1 fabia VRS, do you know if they will fit behind the standard 16inch alloys?

also do you have any pictures?

  • Author

Yes they will, taking photos tonight so will pm you when i put them on the thread!

If it wasn't for the fact Mrs Pasty's insurance policy has to stay standard for financial reasons i'd take these off your hands

do you know if they will fit behind the standard 16inch alloys?

It's tight yes they definitely fit behind standard alloys.

What they dont know, cant hurt them pastyboy!

Just remember that, its been happening your whole life, rememebr when santa was real? the easter bunny?

Your parents took the decision not to tell you so it wouldnt hurt you, i would be inclined to do this again, with the insurance company.

Your choice....look into your heart...its your choice....

I'm with LV and when I told them I had bigger brakes on my car the quote went down by I think 100 quid. Could be worth checking with insurance company

Gave them a look over, nipples etc are free, paints flaking, turns out they were bronze! Obe pad has a bit of damage from transport, nothing serious as you can see in the pic! All boxed and ready to go!

Are the calipers in good nick? No seizing etc

  • Author

They look fine to me, im no mechanic, who ever took them off tleft the fluid in them so i drained that out when i freed the nipples etc!

One of the rubber caps is missing off of the nipple, dont no how important that is!

As i said, price is or nearest offer!

No Interest!?

£220 delivered takes them!

Going on holiday next week and could do with them gone!

  • 2 weeks later...
  • Author

Still have these!

Is the price too high?

Seems fair to me. I wouldn't go less than £200. Maybe clean them up and paint them green might gauge a little more interest maybe

If their still here next week I'll take them providing price is right.
