Hi all, just registered, never had a Skoda before but was due to change my car and saw a fantastic offer, so I am awaiting the delivery of a new Skoda Octavia SE Connect, got to be honest would never have thought of looking at a Skoda, (all the bad jokes etc) but was so surprised at the build quality and the drive so took the plunge. Hope all bodes well for the future.

The salesman at the garage said lots of people think the same as I did and the hardest thing is to get them to test drive a vehicle, once in they sell themselves.

So nice to be here and hopefully any queries I have can be addressed.

As another of todays Newbies, welcome. The Octavia is a great car. My best mate has one that he has driven for 280,000 miles from new and he has only had minor problems and the normal sevice parts . He cannot believe how reliable it is.

I felt the same before i bought my first Skoda back in 2002 but now i would not buy anything else.
