New owner with a few questions

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, just picked up a red 2003 Octavia vRS mk1. Thought I would introduce myself here and ask a couple of questions that I have.

Love the car, even though its a bit of a step down from my previous Monaro VXR, however when I got it back home, I've noticed that the alloys are 18's and not 17's that I was expecting, did they ever come with 18's? Or is it an after addition.

I was also wondering if there was a decoder of the vehicle data that is on the sticker at the front of the service schedule.

Also is there a like for like replacement for the rear speakers? As they appear to have blown!

Enjoying the car a lot and hope for a few years of fun with her!

Hi mate and welcome.

The Mk1 Vrs came as standard with 17" alloys (Spiders), there should be a 17" spider alloy in the boot as well. Yours looks like aftermarket 18" Audi RS4 reps.

They never had a 18" wheel option on the Mk1's

Hello Steam and welcome along, agree those look like RS4 replicas.

Car looks well, as do the wheels B)

Hi and welcome aboard.
