S100 Lights

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm trying to get my s100 m.o.t-able and the lights are a nightmare, the majority of the holders are all corroded.

Is there a way of rigging them to earth somewhere else and not on the inside of the light fixture, or a place where i can ~6 rear holders and one front side light with an earth.

Cheers

You could add an extra wire if needed to a good earth.Ive got some new bowls somewhere if you need some..Jay..

Yeah I've done the extra wire which has worked a treat. I don't need the bowls just a complete one of these 21xv6q.jpg

cheers

Benn, that photo looks like a side/stop/tail/indicator/stop+tail bulbholder, but it's impossible to tell which from your photo. In any event, those would probably all be available without the rest of a lamp from the usual classic restoration suspects.

Yeah it is. But its smaller than all the ones I've been able to find, its diameter is smaller than a 5p

I'd have thought a capped 5w sidelight bulb cap was smaller diameter than a 5p. I can't check because my car has all 21W, 5/21W or capless bulbs.
