Best 16 pounds I ever spent !

Featured Replies

Just fitted some superpro front arb poly bushes to my 4 x 4, ok mine wer loose as a whores knickers but amazing how two bits of rubber can transform a car. Strange the arb its self looked fairly new, but shockingly the bushes that where fitted where installed upside down. They where genuine vag ones too, so hope it wasn't a dealer that had fitted them before. Nuggets.

Going to do the rear next but have to look out for avnew rear arb as it looks well rusted with all powder coat flaking off. Might even upgrade as really thin, should I be able to bend it so easily by hand at the rear?

Just upgraded the rear arb on my 4x4, just be advised there isn't a dedicated 'octavia 4x4' one and the boot floor has to be modded to fit a tt/r32 one :O/

Really easy mod to do, all that's needed is a lump hammer lol

Worth the hassle boys?

All Octys benefit from an aftermarket rarb, the difference in handling can be compared to night and day lol

YEP...!

I hope your not only changing the rear ARB

That'll put you in ditch

The most important ARB on the 4x4 is the front ARB, it should approx 5mm thicker than rear.

The OEM ARB's are f :swear: g useless

R32 front + rear are OK cheap option

Not sure what to do as quite happy with the front now its sorted and keep toying with the idea of selling it for a proper offroader for mudplugging etc, but I like the octy too, the only downside is petrol it burns if it had the diesel in the 4x4 it would be a keeper.

Has anyone else noticed there bushes inserted upside down when they went to change them ?
