Free Headlight protectors - collection only - Oxfordshire

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Haven't got enough garage space. Lots of stuff I need to junk. Removed these genuine Skoda protectors from my vRS as I quite simply didn't like the look of them. Free to a good home, a bad home, or even an indifferent home.

Collect from Carterton only, I really can't be @rsed to package these awkward things up.

No takers within a week and they go in the bin.

Also, got both complete rear window regulators that just need a repair clip in each if anybody wants to take these away...

WHERE THE HELLS CARTERTON ????? :)

Google is your friend...

About 18 miles west(ish) of Oxford.

Oops, beaten to it. Yep, that's the place.

LOL LEEDS TO OXFORD LONG DRIVE

  • Author

Not that long, but too long for two crappy free bits of plastic. ;)

Reminds me, I need to try and get some gigs up your way. Some darned good bands in Leeds that we'd mix well with. Although, perhaps finding another bass player first might be a better plan...

what music???? promo cd?????? face book link??????

It's in my sig, but more here;

However, the only recordings are fairly junk (apart from Chimera which was left off the EP) as we'd saved everything we recorded properly for our EP release. Although, that was a fair while back now...

I would have these but again it's a long drive from Bognor :-(

Bump before they fill my dustbin...

Put them on eBay chap, they will fetch £10+ on there!

Really can't be bothered, and don't want the aggro. Nobody bothers bidding on stuff like that when it's collection only.

And you honestly think they'll get there in one piece do you?

Have you actually seen the size and shape of the damned things?

Honestly, it ain't gonna happen without a biggish box, and fairish protection, and they ain't perfect anyhoo. Hence why I'm offering them free, or for the bin.

I'd take them off your hands, but I will not be passing until 21st. Going from Hitchin to Cranham in Glos, and always go past Oxford.

That's no problem. I can tuck them out of the way until then.

I would say that the sensible route from Hitchin to Cranham would be via the A40 anyway, which goes right past Carterton.

Great, thank you. I'll pm you for address. I intend to leave Hitchin around 0900.on the 21st. Google maps reckons about 2 hrs to Carterton, but that route is vis M1,M25 and M40.

Sounds about right. M40 will become A40 just before Oxford, then from Carterton you'll get back onto the A40 I suspect at least until Andoversford, and then probably onto the A436...

Should be well under an hour to Cranham from me. I'll make sure the kettles full.
