Down Under Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

Hello all,

New to Skoda and new to this forum. I've just traded a 2010 Focus Mk2 in on a Fabia vRS Mk 2. Hopefully, I'm not making a mistake as the Ford has been trouble free - I just wanted something with a little more zip.

I tried the Hyundai Veloster Turbo, a Lancer Ralliart, a Focus XR5 (ST to most of you) and a Golf GTI, but to my surprise the Skoda was the one I came back to - mostly because the dealer was more willing to give me a decent change-over price than the others. Which made it the best value. Especially given the mark-up the local dealers are putting on the more-or-less-identical Polo GTI's (if they're even available).

Looking forward to catching up with some more established Skoda fans and enthusiasts.

Welcome to the forum.

I am sure you are going to enjoy your car.

There is another recent new member from Australia, with a vRS & Monte Carlo with posts in the Fabia II section & in the Journals section.

Maybe introduce yourself & post some pics in the section.

have fun.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll "drop in" to the Fabia section when I have the car (and pics).

Welcome aboard, the focus was trouble free you say, apart from lack of style of course hehe. The fabia is a great choice, and easy to live with. Also very upgradable so when warranty is up or you get bored, start Modding and she will he with you for years.

Update us on the purchase buddy with pics
