Wheel protection time,

Featured Replies

Spent some time today cleaning/sealing the wheels on my new car to get them sealed up for the winter.

Remember these are brand new wheels so never assume your wheels are grand when you buy a new car, so I hope this post gives some members a bit of inspiration to get their wheels done,

That 845 is excellent, washed mine yesterday and the crap still falls after applying it months ago.

Nice one buddy! And some different manufacturers of products too. Nice to see them working!

Nice.

I put 3 coatsof Poorboys wheel sealant on my Zeniths back in June and the dirt still washes off very easy. Might be time to do them again soon before the bad weather sets in.

Yeah, it's always best if you can seal the wheels from new, but even brand new wheels can need work. Lovely job!

Biggest challenge with new wheels is making sure you don't kerb them!

PS - I may live in South West Scotland, but most of my family are in Co. Cork......

What part of Cork?

What part of Cork?

2 cousins live out by Farmers Cross, the rest are all out in West Cork around Dunmanway and Drimoleague.
