an S4. my dad recently bough a 2004 Audi S4, very low milege. (model before the recent facelift). he bought the older shape as he really didnt like the design of the "new" A4 compared to the one he had and now the S4.

Has to be said i loved it  344bhp from the V8. the engine sounded great and really smooth. no matter what gear it was in it just pulled so well. acceleration was damn good. :D

from the drive i got handling seemed very good too, better than i was expecting.

now how do i afford one of these ;)

always wanted an S4, in fact i still do. but i think i'd rather have the 2.7TT myself

no pics yet, ill see if i can get some.

mid range conpaired to the furby?? big difference??

My mate who owns the A3 3.2 has sold it and currently at AMD having a custom re-map and milltek fitted is his brand spanking new shape S4. he has also shoved BBS rims on it and windows were tinted yesterday! Needless to say he is picking me up and taking me to work EVERY day next week.

4.2-litre V8

0-60 in 5.6 seconds

0-124 in 20 secs

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

And the shock horror of it and the bit that makes you sick is that hes only 20!!!! :-O

Rich daddy thats all im saying!

I like the S4 - Milltek had their avant around croft a few weeks ago - the fabia is reasonable at staying with it under certain circumstances like the latter twisties at croft, but straight line power can match a standard RS4 !

A worthy machine indeed !

stright line power CAN match a standard rs4? that right?

I read that as being Miltek's S4 can match an RS4... :)

Chris

I read that the same. Somehow, a PD130 (re-mapped or rocket-boosted) isn't gonna keep with an RS4, straight or twisty.

Unless the RS4 was twisty itself!

or driving in reverse maybe !?

i may be wrong and may be shot down in flames but i doubt a fabia vRS would keep up with the S4 or RS4 for that matter ;)
