Maybe been asked before but had a search with no result.I thought I was buying a pair of standard mk1 superb headlanps till I got them delivered then noticed there xenon with levelling/headlanp wash etc.bargain at £60 for the pair now I know what they are what I'm wondering is can I replace my halogens with them is there a lot involved any help appreciated cheers

I think you'd need to buy all the control units etc - ballast, igniter, loom..... Then run the washer system through etc. I'm sure it can be done as others will confirm. Just a bit of a faff! Are the headlamps you bought in good nick?

The ballasts are attatched to headlamps the lights are in good condition the guys cut the plug with a good length of cable left incase I need to change plug as I'm not sure if original plug fits

Ooh. Sounds like a project...... Does your car have self levelling lights anyway? It may be that you'll find it's simpler than originally thought....

As long as you have the ballasts it should be an easy swap, its certainly been done before on the Fabia MK1. The end result will be much better lighting. If you have headlight washers, then there should be no issues really although technically you should also have auto levelling lights.

Cheers for all comments it doesn't have self levelling it has the thumb wheel also doesn't have headlanp washers just on the headlanps everything's there obviously except self levelling sensors and loom and washer set up will it be plug and play or a lot of hassle?cheers
