I placed an order for a vrs nearly 2 weeks ago and have not got a delivery date yet from the dealer. I phoned last saturday and was told it was ordered for week 27 ( july) but this had not been confirmed , could anyone shine some light on the problem with delivery times and the like?

I just took delivery of mine this week, (three days old now!) It took about 4 weeks all in all from ordering the car to taking delivery.... they couldn't give me a delivery date until three days before it arrived.......... so I think july is a bit long away... sure they can get you one before then! my dealer told me mine was ordered to build (I.e none in stock) and it only took about a month....

I ordered a standard car in Diamond Silver at the weekend. Dealer said there were about 30 cars in stock centrally and I should have the car in under two weeks. Build to order (ie with options) was 8-10 weeks.

yeah mine said that too , cars in stock, two week delivery, (but I wanted a black one, and there were no black ones! lol..)

it's worth the wait beleive me, had mine 4 days now, got up to 600 miles, its starting to loosen up now... and I can't stop smiling evertime I drive it! (turns heads too, still not many of them around!)
