Sorry this has properly been asked many times but I can't seem to find the answer. Can some confirm if this is the right cable for a 2006 Fabia VRS tdi

My power steering has failed and unfortunately replacing the battery didn't fix it so I need a cheap option to just see what fault codes there are. Fingers crossed it's not the pump!!

I have just bought that cable and they checked that my octy was before 2004 as they said it would not work otherwise.?
