Plasti Dip Durability

Featured Replies

Just removed my rear bumper strip and plasti dipped it, looks great, like new, but wondering on the durability of this stuff?

Is it going to look tatty in a month or two, should I have just bought new strips. :)

Plastidipped my grill over 6 months ago and still looks as good as the day I did it. No chips or anything.

Sent from my phone, using my thumb.

Great. Going to do the front too if the can lasts, think I used too much. Can feels a bit empty now.

Is this stuff easy to spray on or does it run etc... Ive an old mk3 golf i wos thinkin of plasti dipping the roof. Also does a power washer take it off?

Mine lasted 6 months but it only came off as i went too crazy with the pressure washer

Going to have to be careful with it when I clean I think. Will see, if it goes bad will just buy some new bits.

Halfords sell a bumper spray paint?

I replaced my door mouldings with new skoda items, £35 and what a difference

N ot actually sure why I used plasti dip, seemed to be all the rage. :giggle:

I fancy priming mine properly and colour coding. Or maybe lacquered silver (on my black)...

Did my bump strips a few months back, still lovely and black :)

It's a rubberish paint that doesn't chip or fade, it just peels off when you're done too.
