Featured Replies

Is anyone running 225 50 r17 on spider alloys , the company i ordered my tyres from sent me out the wrong size n was considering fitting them any way

and has anyone used altenzo sports comforter tyres ?

thanks steven

They fit fine, slightly worse fuel consumption. Only thing is they cost less than 205s

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!

I'm running Avon ZV5's 225 45 17 on mine ans the just catch on the front coilovers so I have to use a 3mm shim

Im running 205's on my spiders and 225's on my pro race wheels and both fit fine although i find car drives better on the 205's.

Dont know if its just the tyres ive got on or if its due to the extra width of them causing it to tramline

Guys, he said 225/50, not 225/45. They are going to be a fair bit bigger, maybe 20mm or so, so could upset the speedo and/or abs etc.

I wouldn't fit them - Get the company to send out the proper size (205/50/R17 or 225/45/R17).

This is true, but then it will make less of a difference than the Estate Versions running 205/50/R16's which makes my speedo read way under. Mind you, under is better than over, and I'm possibly less likely to get in trouble as a result.

Send 'em back.

You know under reading at 130 is still asking for trouble you know matey lol :D
