Featured Replies

i have a strange noise on my octy vrs, when going along in gear at about 20 mph i can hear a very faint sound like a brake disc rubbing, then when i am going round a bend you can hear it even more like a brake disc rubbing sound, the sound is only comes when i put my foot on the throttle at a certain speed say 20 mph, if i take my foot of the pedel it goes.does not make a sound when rolling in gear only when i put my foot on the throttle does it make the sound.i cant find where its coming from any help please guys

I have the same problem but when I turn left and it always gets louder when i put power on!!! I thought wheel bearing but I replaced and still doing it so I'm thinking an engine mount ?

sounds to me like a wheel bearing is on its way out, i had to change the wheel bearing on the same side once because my mate hammered it in and upset it.

Outer CV joint?

had the exact same problem til yesterday, put a new cv and bearing in, has stopped, but now pulls to the left, getting tracking done later today to see if thats the problem

check your CV joints (inner and outer) and also the wheel bearing.
