Are these available in a non-auto lights flavour?

Presumably you need vcds to sort out the auto lights function as I don't have it ?

You need the rain sensor as well Paul, as it'll use that to pick the light level up. Is your vRS so equipped?

Also a repair wire running.

I did something similar with a Passat CC light switch. Not green illumination but multicoloured.

I'm afraid the only one I have now is for the Auto Headlight switch. And my VRS is equiped with it. The green illumination is the main difference for this switch, which is very hard to find, at least for me.

Yes, it's a little taller, but surely wider. Chunkier.

Thanks. I've done some detailed comparison and there are notable differences between the Octavia and Yeti switches so unfortunately I don't think it will fit for me.

However, at around half price of an OEM switch as here;- http://www.skodaparts.com/product/octavia-light-switch-2008-2012-49997 I think £35 shipped is a very fair price.

Just for your information. The lights on my light switch acts the same way, where "AUTO" etc lights up brighter, when activated. And that is the original switch. (Superb II).

Yup, but the side light also remains brightly lit up, as in the pics. And when on main beam, the side light still remains brightly lit up!
