Boot Storage

Featured Replies

I have seen a few member have some storage devices in the boot and was just wondering if they are OEM or aftermarket products.

1) The net that covers the boot floor

2) The bag that goes on the left hand side (I have Velcro strapping here)

3) the bag that goes on the right hand side

I had a net in my 206 which was an OEM item, but that covered the back of the rear seats.

Also, while I'm here, I have genuine fabia rubber mats in my vrs with fabia on them, is there a matching rubber boot mat available at all?

Cheers Matt.

They are all oem the net kits are readily available from dealers it's three behind rear seats bottom and a side one. The bags I believe are a bit harder to come by as I'm sure it's been mentioned in the past there out of production

I've got the bags on the left and right and one attached to the bottom of the parcel shelf, all free when i bought the car and all oem.

There is a rubber mat for the boot. I bought mine from a Skoda dealer on eBay, costs roughly about £30.00.

I've got part numbers for the skoda bags on my computer, i can post them up later if you really want to order a set.

If you could it would be ace mate. Do you have any idea on prices for them?

Dont know if my item numbers or prices match the link as i havnt checked it, I also cant verify the prices since these are from a couple of years ago but here you go anyway!

Item: Boot storage bag – fits around wheel arch Right side

Part Number: DMA 410 006

Price: £13.00

Item: Boot storage bag – fits around wheel arch Left side

Part Number: DMA 410 005

Price: £13.99

I have the left bag, the right bag and the boot tray.

I certainly don't think the bags are worth the money - but the tray is priceless! The carpet in my 2004vRS was spotless when I sold the car - but obviously I transferred the accessories.

I also have two rather useful storage boxes - the lower one usually stays in the boot - the upper one's only used occasionally:

They were actually bought for my Freelander but fitted perfectly in the Fabia - they're wardrobe storage boxes from IKEA!

What did they end up costing Joe?

After i placed the order Skoda rang me back and I was told they were no longer made and there were none in stock. :(

I bought one of these for my brother's Ibiza.

It folds in two, so can be easily looped around the rear seat hooks and sits along the back of the rear seats. Add a couple of shackles or tiedowns and it could be a boot floor net or a combination boot floor and seat back net (It's quite big). Sturdier than the Skoda ones but doesn't have a tensioning ability like the Fabia "bag style" nets.

Also spotted this which looks like it could be useful if given some thought.

I've put a net on the parcel shelf (for kitchen roll and scarf), boot liner and one of those velco bags from tescos £3? to keep oil, Haynes, coolant, pump and bungee cords.
