Tag Heuer Indy 500 Chronograph watch

Featured Replies

i have for sale a Tag Heuer Indy 500 Chrono watch

i bought it 3 months ago but never wore it as i keep going back to my Daytona

the watch dates from 2007 and comes with the box , manual , spare links etc BUT the card (papers) is missing

i had it when i bought it but have since lost it

it also comes with a smaller travel box so you can take it on holiday etc without having the bulky big box

the watch is in "used" condition and as such is not mint or as new

i personally guarantee this watch is real and above board

here is a picture

when i get the time (and the camera battery is charged)i will add some more better quality pictures

the price i am looking for is around £450 inc insured delivery or you can come and view if you wish

open to decent offers but low ballers will be ignored

i can pawn it today for £400 so think the asking price is very reasonable

no watch buffs on here?

Used condition tag with no papers that's the reason IMO

No papers is like no v5 !!

Ah just seen no papers if you've been offered than at a pawn brokers I'd take It you may struggle to sell privately without papers far too many fakes around people just don't take the chance anymore.

I'm a Brietling fan.

The wife wears a Tag, nice watches

Plenty of watch fans on here, but as others said, condition and especially lack of papers, for the price is the issue.

if hes willing to get it certified by a jeweller then maybe the papers could be requested from tag as im sure that they do get lost. I would bite your arm off but being redundant i cant afford it :(

i dont think they can request new papers

i know it is not possible with Rolex & Omega

the only way to do it is for me to get it serviced by TH approved watchmaker or TH then they give a certified years guarantee (iirc as they do with Rolex)

that would be at least £200

the other way is to get a certified insurance valuation or indeed just a valuation (with serial number inc of course) and that would give provenance

it is a case of buyng the seller as well as the watch and i appreciate me being new does not make it easy

to be honest i may just keep it until the card turns back up or part ex it

im not in need of the cash but dont want this to become one of the other "put away" watches i have :giggle:

thanks for the interest guys
