There's a new firmware out for the M series SSDs, I bought a second hand one from a mate who upgraded to a 512, I'm quite surprised it works fine and it's now even quicker since I put the new firmware on it.

There are deals every day on SSDs right now. The smaler ones are getting very cheap. I got a 60Gb for an old laptop for £25.

A tiny one like that would be of no use to me, I'm a bit of a data muncher and I'd fill a 60Gb in less than a hour after installing it.

I need at least 256Gb which I have at the moment (80% full after a decoke), but I also have 4Tb of mechanical HDD space for Video & Music + backups.
