My drivers side drive shaft is off balance or bent or something and causes a wobble (it is definitely this i have checked it) question is, i know of a vrs breaking near me and wondered if the drivers drive shaft would be the same

The reason i ask is that i have seen some places referencing the 1.8 20v t to be the same shaft. Anyone here know if it is?

Looking at parts listing i would say no but i carn't see them been that differant tbh, shame you don't live closer as i have a set of vrs shafts sat in boot of my car and a set of 6 speed ones sat in shed

dam it annoying. I have just however found a drivers side bora one identical for a tenner, and tenner delivery.

It was my mistake, when fitting solid flywheel and clutch it wouldnt move so i levered against the drive shaft before i realised what i was doing, and since then a slight wobble has appeared whilst accelerating at 50mph and over

already ordered one, it was £20 delivered and didnt wanna offer you as little as that, id be £15 diesel so thats a fiver for yours. I wouldnt do that.

Cant believe the one i changed werent the one that was wonky. so have a spare passenger one now
