Ok before you all shout yup i dont have a clue what im doing!!

Ive got a Octy2 2.0 TDI with varialble servicing and need to know what oil to get as im close to the low mark (called skoda but saterday muppets answered the phone!!!) I believe its got to be fully synthetic but what grade!!

Need to know as off a long drive and may be moving rather fast Managed 120 so far

PD engine on variable servicing = spec VW 506 01. No other spec will do.

Castrol SLX Longlife is made to the VW spec (Castrol make the VW Quantum branded oil), and is available from the likes of ECP and GSF at good price.

My 2.0tdi is a heavy drinker of this stuff, but most of my mileage is motorway.
