just been to local vw to price up discs and pads robbing buggers want €350 just for parts, look's like E bay is looking good if anyone knows any good discs out there?

350 euros? So saying euro car parts will be a waste of time?

I bought some genuine Mintex discs & pads for my 1.9 tdi from a company called Yorkshire Exhaust centre (Leeds) on eBay for £62 ish including really fast delivery. Perfect fit first time.

I had the same symptoms. New discs and pads cured it, Pagid from ECP with 30% off :)
