Registering the PID

Featured Replies

Evening All,

I decided I should finally plug in the PID to see if there were any updates, considering I got it with the car on the 1st September. However using NAVIGON Fresh it says its already at the latest software version!

Im also a little confused to how I "register" my PID so that it will only work with my car, or is that not possible? I heard that you could do something like that but i couldnt remember what exactly :D

Mine also said firmware was up to date.

Once your PID is first connected to the car I believe it is considered registered (pared) to that vehicle.

My dealer said it's possible to just move it to an UP! or Mii and it will show up with the software / look that it has in those cars. It will not be locked to your car.

I have failed miserably to register my PID for Skoda Citigo. I would like to take advantage of the discounts for Safety cameras and Fresh maps.. I have downloaded Navigon Fresh  to my Macbook but can't register my device. Please can someone help me.

Send Garmin an email. I paid for two year map updates but their update system would not accept my PID. They needed further emails but did sort it in the end, after I claimed a credit card refund and the card company got involved.
