Right I reall need quick info on some alloys if the tyre width

Featured Replies

If my tyre width on my car is 165 already with this standard steel things and my car will be lowered by 40 mm would I still be alright to get 195 width tyres and will they rub against the walls ?

You may need to post more figures on precisely what you're trying to do but for starters a vRS has 205 tyres as standard...

What width wheel does it have too? FWIW, I've got 195's as standard on the 6j BBS's on my Polo, so in terms of tyre fitting the rim, if it's 6j you'll be fine. :)

you wontt have any problems,i was about -90mm down on coils with 205/40/17 . .

but also as said rim width is the issue not the tire size really. . and offsets (how much the wheel pokes out past the hub mounting point)
