When the centre rear seat is folded...

...creating an armrest for the rear passengers, is there an available accessory that will fill the hole into the boot?

Sorry, that's not quite what I'm after

I'm looking to block the gap left when the centre seat is folded down (creating an armrest, and revealing the pair of cupholders), so that you can't just stick your arm straight into the boot.

I think the accessory you've suggested only covers the gap between each of the full size seats & the boot (when slid forward).

There is nothing.....but various members have improvised over the years. There is at least one thread on here somewhere about what movers have done to block the gap.

It is a pain, specially if you take out the centre seat as well.

My Gobi I have to be very careful with not to get marks on it.

I've just rigged up one of the nets to go across the back of all the seats, this with the dog guard now stops George , the Labrador from getting through....

Oh yes, you're right! I always thought it covered the gap, but when I looked closely at the picture it appears not. It would certainly be a good idea if they added something to cover this. :)

Black carpet, thin ply bit of glue and time and of course a little velcro springs to my mind.

I have one 'on the drawing board' so to speak

My idea is to leave it in all the time to protect the armrest from the boot contents

I might make it full width to use as a barrier if I tumble all the seats forward

Use a black travel rug held in place by the parcel shelf 'wrap round' net system. Apologies I don't know were the rug originally came from; I 'borrowed' it from the airing cupboard :giggle:

Excellent work - looks like a factory OEM fit - great colour match too!
